Filmmaking 1
An Introduction

Weekend Session
Friday 6:30 – 9:30pm, Saturday 9:00am - 4:00pm and Sunday 9:00am - 4:00pm

In Filmmaking 1, students learn the process of filmmaking by producing one short project, shooting on video. In the process of making their film, students become familiar with the basic skills of filmmaking and obtain a hands-on overview of the entire film production process, from developing a concept to completion.

This weekend session is devoted to learning basic technical knowledge essential to successful filmmaking. Students will learn camera operation, basic lighting, exposure, composition and the fundamentals of film production.
